Today is my parents silver wedding aniversary!
I thought my father was going to work today at night, so I planned a nice dinner tomorrow. But I didn´t know he was going to have an important meeting with some important people at the church. It was hard to get him free...but thanks for the compreensible people, we are going to have a celebration tomorrow. And it´s incredible...it´s still a secret!
Counting they are together for 37 years. Because different from Norway, people just can marry after they can afford themselves and it just happen after you finish your studies.
I´m sure it was not always easy to live with each other, but this is what makes this date important...and I will take with me the example of never giving up...
MY DENTIST LIFE...
I´m learning so many new things...
I´ve been attending some courses about whitening teeths these months. Tried some of the tecniques on my own teeth...It´s nice to get white teeth back after driking so much tea and coffee for 10 months. I feel like cleaning and giving a happy smile for my patients...
But the best I´m learning these days is with a old man with cancer.Cause for the first time, I have to care for the person, for his health first, not for the treatment he needs in his mouth. I really worry about his case, wished he accepted my advice to go to another office, was afraid of doing some mistake.
But I believe God sent him to me...now, I need to study more about special patients, I need to be aware of every single detail, and above all, I learned to love him. Now I believe Christian and dentist are a good combination. Now I´m finding some vocation in my profession...
MISSING JULIA
I´ve been taking care of Julia almost every day. Now I´m expert with dyppers! And getting some pain in my back...
She is traveling for some days with her parents. I thought about going together, but I needed some resting time.
But truth is, I´m missing her so much...and I´m feeling bored cause I don´t have anyone to call me TIAAAAA all the time or to look after the few steps she is able to or even no one to change dyppers...
I know I´m suspect to say it, but she is really the smartest and cuttiest baby I´ve ever seen... I´m sure about her reaction when she arrives back...she will shout: TIAAA TAÍS and gives me lots of hugs and kisses. And I´m looking forward to that!
