AME - Associação Missão e Esperança Last week I´ve been in a Conference organized by an organization called AME - Association Mission and Hope.
To be sincere, I didn´t wanna go. In the last days, I felt I would like to be at home, alone. But I couldn´t go back...
But it was good to go. Challenging to listen their testemonies. Blessing to be in a fellowship again.
They work in West Timor and Indonesia. After the tsunami they want to help to rebuild the country. But also to preach the gospel. For many years, they were closed, but after the tsunami they ask where is their sin. They showed a commercial on TV where they ask God - not Alah, to forgive their sins.
But also much pain. Many Christians being killed, churches being burned. Persecution.
Among the workshops, we heard from some north americans. They own an organization to help in desasters situations. Also about long and short term mission. The preparation and intercession...and many others.
I´ve heard at Hald from one of the invited teachers, God gave us the mission to preach the Gospel for all nations, it´s more than 2000 years ago and we haven´t accomplished the mission...
